How it all began…
Mike saw this cute, confident red head walking up and he knew she was something special.
Kristi melted as she saw this tall, dark, and handsome man waiting for her outside of the restaurant.

How We Met
Mike and Kristi are a HINGE success story! They can’t remember who liked who first, but the interest was mutual. Kristi was over the dating scene and Mike was just about to delete his account, when the two matched. Kristi was a little straight forward, as Kristi typically is, and quickly asked Mike if he wanted to meet up. Mike was a little taken aback and thought for sure he was being catfished. Kristi gave Mike her number and didn’t hear from him for two weeks. She went on about her life, had a beautiful trip to Yosemite, updated her profile pictures with some pictures from the trip and then allllll of a sudden, guess who texted Kristi!?
November 13th, 8:28am “Hey Kristi its Michael. How ya doing”
The next day, on November 14th Mike and Kristi had their first date.
Mike and Kristi quickly talked about intentions and future desires. Mike learned that Kristi was going to challenge him to hard conversations and Kristi learned Mike was a man of his word and was ready for something serious.
And the rest is history
Mike and Kristi began working with a pre-marital counselor in September 2024, took a beautiful and pivotal trip to Spain in October, and got engaged on February 15th, 2025!
Kristi made it very difficult for Mike to surprise her, but he pulled it off! On a perfect sunny day in Newport Beach, Mike rented a duffy boat, invited a couple of friends and popped the question! Mike even planned a surprise dinner with a few of Kristi’s friends after the engagement to round out the most beautiful day.
Mike and Kristi are grateful for the way their faith has grounded and centered their relationship, and look forward to building a family together… God willing… very soon!
