Meet the Groomsmen

Met at church and have known each other for almost 40 years.

"Brother" is the word that I would use to describe Shmoove. He encompasses everything a brother is and should be - loyal, compassionate, loving, protector, closest of friends.

One thing I'm excited for Mike and Kristi is to see them grow more in The Lord as man and wife and the benefits of that in them as individuals and collectively. 

I met Mike in the 1st grade. He tried to fight me, but my sister told him to back off, and then we became best friends. We would race all the time and were the two fastest in our grade.

There isn’t just one word to describe Mike: daydreamer, adventurous, impulsive (in a good way), quick decision maker, up for anything, and spontaneous.

I am most excited for Mike to have kids … he has wanted kids for a while and he is great with my kids . I didn’t know if he would ever get that.

Known Mike my whole life ;)

I held him as a baby.

One word… “ Mikey” with a smile 😊 “  or Brodiszafa … simply because he’s my buddy and I enjoy his company. 

The Bible says, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD.” 

I’m most excited that this amazing moment in time; milestone and gift from God is happening for both of you. 

I have two words for Mike. They both have similar weight: Steadfast & Devoted. Mike is a man of his word with honest values. 

Very happy for the both of you because   your lives will only get better from here. There will be many fun adventures to be had. More songs to be sung. More trouble to get into and grow together. 

Mike and I met the Summer of ‘94 during High School basketball . I had just moved to Corona, he was my first friend/brother I met.

31 years strong!

A word I would use to describe Mike… Money!…the guy is straight MONEY! Big heart, loving, life of a party, always up for an adventure, always good for a laugh…my brotha, MONEY Mike!

Per the Corona High 1997 year book…Mike intends to - go to college, get rich, get married and have 10 kids… I’m excited for you both to get started on those 10 kids!

I met Mike through the Fire Service and have had the privilege of knowing him for nearly 20 years.

The one word I would use to describe Mike is “Interesting.” He truly embodies the phrase “The Most Interesting Man in the World.” From his extensive travels to his deep knowledge of food and culture, and his remarkable dedication to serving others, Mike consistently goes above and beyond in everything he does. "STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS ".

I’m most excited about the new Book of Journeys and the commitment they have to building a shared future together. Their marriage marks the start of a beautiful new chapter filled with adventures, meaningful memories and so much more. 

I’ve known Mike 12 years and met him while stationed at station 61 in Buena Park. 

One word to describe Mike: passionate. I think this best describes Mike based on what he values: friendships, culture and experiences. Anything Mike decides to partake in he goes 100%. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better firehouse cook than him!

One thing I’m excited about for you both is having children and traveling the world, making experiences as a family!

Forced, as I am the brother of the Bride. Luckily he passed the “brother test” and I look forward to officially making him a part of our family.  

Driven— Mike knows what his goals are in life and works hard to achieve them. So much so he practices his golf swing tirelessly at the fire house to achieve his main life goal of beating me at golf. 

I’m excited to see the success they can achieve as the power couple they are.
